What excuse could be made up to avoid a Mikveh (for Reform(haha) coversion? It is a dirty co-ed mikveh and I am concerned about disease so want to make up an excuse not to go.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Poeple are required to shower before going into the mikveh. In fact, you’re not even supposed to have a speck of dirt on you. With that being said, it should be pretty sanitary. Good luck.
